LINDE BOOSTS TEE HAI’s WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS

In 2014, Tee Hai Chem Pte Ltd partnered with Linde to supply Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks to their new warehouses in Tampines & Tuas.

Tee Hai Chem Pte Ltd, has come a long way since 1966, just a year after Singapore gained independence, beginning as a supplier of high purity reagents and ultra-pure chemicals to local and regional industries. As Tee Hai grew, they diversified to provide Supply Chain Services for ultra-pure electronic chemicals, photoresists, CMP slurries, CMP pads, silicon wafers (fabricated, prime, epitaxial, test & reclaimed wafers, up to 300mm diameter), quartz and other semiconductor related materials.

A major turning point for the company came in 2014, when it built a 600,000-square-foot, G&P warehouse in both Tuas and Tampines. Previously using only reach truck and forklifts, they invested in a total of 8 units of VNA trucks for both warehouses.

By choosing a dependable material handling provider, complete with reliable MHE and a steadfast service department, Tee Hai has seen significant improvement in productivity and cost savings. Not only does Linde offer better after sales services, Linde’s K (VNA Man Up) truck has a better residual capacity over the competitor. This serves as a bonus to Tee Hai as they are handling chemicals, therefore, with the size of the Tote, they can now put it away at a higher level.
