The1204 product line is the first product line to be build on the 12XX platform. The models in this product line are marketed under the name H20 – H35, which comprises trucks with a load capacity of 2 to 3.5 tons. The new H20 – H35 trucks are set to replace the 392 and 393 product lines, which are the most successful IC-Truck models (Diesel, LPG [Liquefied Petroleum Gas], CNG [Compressed Natural Gas]) on the European market in this segment.

In terms of cost-effectiveness, Linde has ambitious goals for the new product line, and in fact for the entire portfolio of IC-Trucks. For decades, Linde has been the European market leader in IC-Trucks. The market share is around 28 percent. Linde wants to expand this market share. With launching the 1204, like with the predecessors, Linde is again setting the benchmark in the market and is even pushing it higher – in terms of performance, ergonomics, cost-effectiveness, safety and connectivity.

Linde is continuing to position the new H20 – H35 IC-Trucks above competitors’ models in terms of the initial purchase price. However, there are significant economic benefits for the user across the entire life cycle of the product. Firstly, the service costs are significantly lower compared to the previous generation. The trucks are particularly robust, require low maintenance and consequently need fewer repairs. Customers also benefit from Linde’s dense service network and efficient spare parts logistics, which significantly increase the truck availability. In addition, users achieve higher productivity thanks to the perfect interaction between man and machine, and in return higher cost efficiency in the overall cost analysis, which also includes the wage costs of the driver.
